The people in the video are speaking Spanish to attract Spanish-speaking recruits, not because they don’t speak English. You would have to speak English to be able to communicate with your shipmates. I think your ethnocentric ideas are clouding your thinking. America is great because of its diversity, not despite it.

i’m going to say this with no capitalization because i’m not trying to be loud. you’re in the us navy, SPEAK FUCKING ENGLISH or go join the mexican, panamanian, peruvian, or guyanian navy and enjoy all the perks that the indigenous peoples of those countries provide you. =) if this what that the armed forces of the us have to pander to so they can fill the rank and file; were in trouble
